  1. Kia Ora Niko, this is Shannon from the Summer Learning Journey.

You have done an outstanding job on this task. I like how you have included both text and images, and I’m impressed by how you maintained a theme of animals throughout your work.

Steam trains are noisy things and I’ve got to say frogs can be too! You have created a splendid visual in this simile. Well done. Frogs are such cool creatures too. Did you know that a group of frogs is called an army? Frogs also don’t need to drink water, they soak it in through their skin. How neat is that.

Perhaps you could make your pictures a little bit bigger to make them stand out to your readers. Follow these easy steps to edit and resize your image

    2. Hi again Niko,

Frogs are such a cool species. Have you ever heard of the glass frog? It’s belly is translucent so you can see its organs. This means you can see its heart beating and the food it eats being digested. You can read more about these amphibians here.

What is your favourite animal? Can you tell me 2 facts about it?

      Ngā mihi maioha,
      Shannon
